Je pense que cela c'est passé de la même façon que toi, à une exception prés:
Pendant la finale de mon 1er tour de piste solo, en visant le peigne, tout d'un coup je me suis posé la question: Pourquoi je suis là ????

J'avais 58 ans et j'avais rêvé de piloter depuis tout petit.

Donc pendant que je me posais cette question le seuil s'approchait, mon annonce radio, alignement, point d'aboutissement, volets, rechaufffage carbu ect ect j'avais tout bon et à 300 pieds peut être sans que je me rende compte j'avais remis les gaz !!!!

Le controleur ???? désolé mais en fait il savait bien sur que c'etait mon 1er laché alors !!

Enfin voila je m'en souviendrais toujours de ce grand moment

I love your blog!  Great photography!  Ma cherie has been studying French for several years and is good at it, so she helped me navigate around.

You have pictures of Mont Saint Michel from the air!!

I first learned about this beautiful place when I was a young boy, and have always been intrigued by it.  Six years ago I saw it for the first time, and have since been back two more times.

I was there just three months ago with my youngest son.  We visited for half a day.  I still think it is one of the most beautiful spots in France.

Afterwards we drove to Cancale, and had oysters by the seawall.  Then we drove to St. Malo, and then back through Avranches.  We drove all around Mortaine, got los around Sourdeval and Vire, and finally found our way back to Bayeaux.

Now I see that you may be flying all over that entire area!  

I will read as much of this as I can before my translator gets too sleepy!

J'ai fait une nav LFLD-LFMA-LFLD. 4h55 de vol. En fait c'était ma première grande Nav. Pas très rassuré en début d nav et l'arrivée sur Aix-Les Milles un peu rock'nd Roll. Posé après un circuit main gauche alors que c'est la main droite obligatoire !!! J'ai été un peu brassé par la contrôleuse !!!. Bref tout cela pour dire qu'il faut voleret voler encore pour augmenter son expérience. Alors bon Vol et avec prudence. Yves
